Richard E Hicks, PhD is a practicing Clinical Psychologist in Raleigh. He is a North Carolina Licensed Psychologist and a Certified Health Services Provider. He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and his BA degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University. He obtained his Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and served his APA Internship at Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. Following his internship, he remained at Dorothea Dix Hospital, working with adults, adolescents, and families, within an outpatient clinic, as well as within the hospital’s acute and residential inpatient facilities, serving as a clinician, supervisor, and administrator in a residential program for adolescents. He has provided psychological services to adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings since 1998.
